See what I did there?

It is still so damn warm. There is nothing I hate more than feeling like I’m being cooked from inside my clothes like a chicken dipper you put in the oven when you were drunk and forgot about.

With that horrendous feeling of impending death through over-heating in mind, here are my top five most favouritest trend-led outfits for that weird bit between the summer finishing and the temperatures falling so quickly your nipples drop off.

Welcome to ‘Autumn transitional outfits ft. some cute ways of incorporating those trendy trends that are trending this season’

NUMBER ONE - SNAKE PRINT

Well, if this isn’t comfort, I do not know what is. This delightful little Topshop number keeps on selling out and WOW, I can see why.

It skims over your belly and hips to give the impression of Greek goddess curves.

It has thigh slits that show a cheeky bit of skin as you strut your sexy stuff around town while keeping your ass and lady garden cool as a cucumber when the temperatures rise to 2 5 degre e s i n O c t o b e r and you would otherwise feel as though early menopause had arrived.

The girls peak through the shirt buttons if you’ll let them or you can tuck them away for a more conservative office-casual work-appropriate look.

I love it.

I’ve thrown it on with trainers and a Burgundy bumbag from Mango here for a super easy look when you have been standing in your pants staring at a wall for the last 20 minutes.

You can throw it on, get out the door and look sassy as f**k with minimal effort.*

It can just as easily be paired with a pair of trainers, black or a bold block colour strappy heel, boots or even sandals if you’re feeling brave/menopausal.

*Minimal effort is key.

NUMBER TWO - SUIT

I personally believe a woman in a suit is one of the strongest looks she can go for.

There is something so powerful about a woman in a block of structured colour.

It’s like: “I am here, and I’m not here to fuck about.”

I get so many compliments when I throw this on. It is sass level 11.

This forest green ensemble is from Topshop and makes me feel like a damn badass.

There’s a pink version of this too which I’m very tempted to pick up for Spring.

NUMBER THREE - LIGHT JACKET

I picked this shirt dress up in Zara without trying it on and it’s become such a quick and easy outfit to throw on.

I layer it with thermals underneath, throw on a leather jacket and biker boots and I’m ready to go.

A pair of delicate polka dot tights even get an outing if it’s a bit nippier out.

I chuck this on when Reece and I head out on our little date nights to Public Market in Woolwich (go treat yourself if you haven’t been to one of the Street Feast venues in London).

NUMBER FOUR - MAXI DRESS

You know those days when your legs look like Chewbacca’s and all your washing basket is overflowing because life?

That is the maxi dress day for me. This one I got from ASOS last year but I’ve found so many more I want to invest in again this year.

A pair of boots, trainers, heels… throw a jacket on and your good to go. The maxi dress is the ultimate staple in the wardrobe of the late girl’s who wants to look sassy.

It’s super easy, super affordable and is literally an outfit in itself.

NUMBER FIVE - RUST

THE colour of the season. These beautiful terracotta/dead leaf colours we’re seeing are a bit of me.

Polka dots are also massively on trend so this Topshop dress is ticking all the boxes.

It’s the same dress design as the snake print one featured in outfit NUMBER ONE. It seems I liked that one so much that this one accidentally arrived in the post too. Oops.

These two lovely dresses keep selling out so I have found some alternatives.

This one from H&M is also lovely.
